Family First

The Family First serves 25 families in East Harlem and is geared to facilitate the English language acquisition and scholastic achievement of ELL students and their families. There are four components of the program: Adult English Classes, Parent & Child Together Activities, Children’s Educational Enrichment and Parent Resource Time. Eligible families have children who attend the after school program at P.S. 112. Students receive incentives such as free books, family trips, event tickets, stipends and more.
