On Track

The On Track program is geared towards assisting incoming 9th graders with their transition into high school. For many students, the move from middle to high school can be an intimidating and overwhelming time. Through the On Track program, we plan to alleviate these concerns by offering a number of services and activities for both students and parents. These include:

  • Workshops, discussion groups, and special events
  • Opportunities and information about employment, cultural events, and academic support
  • Counseling, academic advisement, and tutoring
  • Field trips, various incentives and other enrichment programs
  • A safe and friendly environment

The program is currently servicing students from the Academy of Environmental Science Secondary School (AES), and students from the Richard R. Green School for Teaching.

Since its inception in 1985, we have awarded 118 winners totaling over $188,500.00.
