Charitable Trusts

Creating a charitable trust with cash, securities or other property is another way to make a gift to the Isaacs Center while benefiting yourself or family members. Typically, these trusts are created with substantial donations.

In a Charitable Remainder Trust, you or your beneficiaries receive payments from the trust for a specified time, after which the remaining trust property passes on to the Isaacs Center. A Charitable Remainder Unitrust offers a payment that fluctuates with the value of the unitrust assets; a Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust guarantees a fixed payment amount.

A few of the benefits of creating a Charitable Remainder Trust:

A Charitable Lead Trust is the reverse of a Charitable Remainder Trust with the Isaacs Center receiving payments from the Trust for a specific length of time, then the remaining trust property passing on to the beneficiaries, such as your children, grandchildren. The Charitable Lead Trust reduces the taxable value of a gift to children or grandchildren.
